Steve West entered the public arena because he was

tired of the politicians and their excuses. He wanted to

solve big problems without sacrificing principles.

Steve utilized that commonsense approach when a

local business, which allowed citizens to practice their

2nd Amendment rights, had a conflict with surrounding

neighbors, who were so overwhelmed by the noise that

they filed a $10 million lawsuit against the county.

Rather than let the problem fester or even worse

– letting the lawyers handle the situation – Steve

went to work to find a solution. Steve brought in

sound engineers from Georgia Tech and installed new

technologies to reduce the “sound of freedom” coming

from the range.

Due to Steve ‘s leadership and out-of-the-box thinking,

the business is now thriving, the community is quiet,

and taxpayers are not on the hook for millions.

At a time when families and business are facing real

challenges, Steve’s leadership and problem-solving

ability is exactly what we need more of in Atlanta.
